Oil on canvas by the author Luis del ÁGUILA Y ACOSTA, outstanding Andalusian painter from the late 19th century.
Together with his father, Adolfo Aguila and Pimentel, and his brother Adolfo, Luis belonged to a well-known family of painters from Jerez who used to paint traditionalist Andalusian and militaria subject-matters related to the campaigns of the Spanish empire of the time. The author has works in provincial museums of Andalusia and important private collections.
The oils depict the Andalusian landscapes within the romantic typology.
