A superby highly executed quality tea / coffee service by the world re-known house of Christofle. This service consists of a tea pot, coffee pot, creamer and lidded twin handled sugar bowl. The malmaison design was inspired by Napoleon III and has a design of the empire style with its relief foliage decoration and fine tiny pearl underedge. The service remains in excellent condition as new with just a minimal clean required to the interior of the coffee pot and tea pot due to normal light tarnish. There are no dents or wear. This malmaison service was first introduced in 1909 and stopped production in 1983 and is the most successful pattern to date. This delightful high quality service is sure to grace any fine dining table. The coffee pot measures 25cm high (base to the top of the finial) x 22.5cm (outside handle to the front of the spout) The tea pot measures 22.5cm high x 22cm wide The sugar bowl measures 15.5cm high x 12.5cm wide (handle to handle) x 8.75cm rim diameter The cream measures 13.5cm high (base to the top of the handle) x 12.5cm wide (spout to the outside of the handle)
