An extremely rare & important circumcision knife 

Used in the ritual ceremony of Brit mila 

Hebrew text - ברית קדש - עמי עשיו

עמי עשיו - עזרי מעם השם עשה שמים וארץ 

It means - my help comes for good 

The ceremony is like an operation so it used to say this sentence during the ceremony  

Hand crafted in Germany , circa 1880

The handle of the knife is made of a horn of a kosher animal ( deer) 

The reason the handle is made from horn of a deer  is remind us the binding of Isaac .

The Binding of Isaac (Hebrew: עֲקֵידַת יִצְחַק‎) Aqedat Yitzhaq, in Hebrew also simply "The Binding", הָעֲקֵידָה Ha-Aqedah, -Aqeidah)[1] is a story from the Hebrew Bible found in Genesis 22. In the biblical narrative, God asks Abraham to sacrifice his son, Isaac, on Moriah. Abraham begins to comply, when a messenger from God interrupts him. Abraham then sees a ram and sacrifices it instead.

This episode has been the focus of a great deal of commentary in traditional Jewish, Christian, and Muslim sources, as well as being addressed by modern scholarship.
