Used condition.
Clock runs perfectly.
Beautiful stylish Art Deco pendulum from the famous brand La Pendastrava. (Life-long warranty, linked to a life insurance via the inbuilt money box that some types had for 2 franc coins to make the clock run). This model works without this 'tirelire' but could be customised that way. The clock and striking mechanism function well. Dial behind faceted convex glass with blue numbers. The marquetry in rosewood, Thuya, root wood and satinwood is in very good condition. The measurements are 35 x 23 x 12.5 cm. The clock is adopted in the collection of Musee-Horloger in Lorris, France, among those of other museums. A style icon. The striking mechanism gives a wonderful deep sound every half and full hour. Mechanical movement with bell/gong and intervals, strikes on the half and full hours.
