Superb bas relief in bronze after Clodion (1738-1814) depicting two young women coming out of the waters drawn by two mythological dolphins whose mouths are only seen, a putto holds the left dolphin. Beautiful creation of details; hair, facial expressions, waves... Signed ‘Clodion’ at the bottom of the work and ‘Oudin Marseille’ in the left corner. Circa 1900, France.
