Ferdinand-Jean Luigini; Born in Paris 1870-1943, painter in oil and watercolour, etcher and lithographer. He studied art in Paris under Emile Verhaeren and exhibited at the Salon des Artistes Francais. Signed and titled in pencil along the lower side. Published by a publisher in Paris, Estampe Moderne. In the 1920s, Estampe Moderne published aquatint and etching of colours of famous French artists. An etching with bright colours and black/white delicate details. Size: image measures approx. 32​cm. x 46 cm. Printed on a kind of drawing paper, size; 45 cm. x 60 cm. The drawing paper is attached to thick cardboard. With its old-age stains on the paper, this is still a very nice etching with all its charms of the peasant life of the early 20th century.
