The Benezit Dictionnaire des Peintres, Sculpteurs, Dessinateurs, et Graveurs is a landmark reference work in Art History. A biographical dictionary of 10 volumes, this French-language edition, published in 1976, is the third edition of a historical publication whose first edition came out in three volumes in 1911-1920. This edition is in good vintage order, only one of de volumes has a little inktspot (see last photo). The Benezit is one of the most comprehensive and definitive resources on artists.
