Collector for thirty years of Art Nouveau and Art Deco pewters, I took part in the book of the specialist and great collector Philippe Dahhan ‘Etains 1900’.
All my pieces have been carefully restored by a craftsman of art. They thus have a very nice presentation and a great stability in time.
I decided to sale some pieces of this collection, they all have the signature of the artist.
The offered item, by ALBERT CHEZAL (book Etains 1900 page 95), is made of pewter obtained by deformation of a metal sheet which is then pushed from the inside then finely carved, engraved, chiselled and hammered. This technique was mainly used in France for the making of object during the Art Deco period and later. Every item is unique and are signed by the artist.
