Dutch carafe - Blown glass, engraved
Here is a very nice Dutch bottle/carafe in white moulded engraved glass.
Carafe called "Dutch ball" in white glass decorated on the belly with alternating stylised birds and vine branches. The neck is adorned with stylised floral motifs. From late 18th to early 19th century.
On the belly, several glass gobs were hot applied and shaped with pliers to form wavy yarns. Two yarns are damaged, check the photos.
Dimensions: Height: 22 cm Diameter: 17 cm
