Biography:
Stefano Bombardieri was born in 1968. He immediately developed an attitude towards sculpture following the example of his father, Remo Bombardieri.
His research focuses on the meditation about some themes such as time and its perception, raising then the awareness of man towards endangered animals, often represented in extreme situations, suspended in the void, trapped between luggage or crushed in tin cans.
His works have been displayed all over the world, from Saint Tropez (where he exhibited a rhino with natural features on the seashore at the mercy of waves), to Beirut in Lebanon (where a life-size bronze elephant was lifted off the ground on a scaffold by a child), to London, San Francisco, and the Venice Biennale, just to name a few.
