CSS (Comprehensive Storage System) off-white modular wall unit or room divider designed by George Nelson for Herman Miller in 1957 and distributed by Vitra. There are 4 aluminum poles, adjustable in height, which are clamped between ceiling and floor. The 7 loose white melamine shelves and one compartment for LP's or books can be hung to your own preference. The 4 poles are adjustable in height and freestanding so it's possible to use the unit as a room divider as well as a wall unit. - 4 poles: min height 248 to max height 270cm - 4 shelves: 83cm wide x 48cm deep - 3 shelves: 83cm wide x 32,5cm deep - LP unit is 83cm wide x 32.5cm deep - Unit total width 261cm - Good vintage condition: light signs of wear and use Collection from Herentals (Belgium).
