THIS BMW Z1
(Please see pictures for details)
On 11th May 1989, the car left the factory: Colour: Traumschwarz-metallic, interior: grey / dark grey, options: Z1 light alloy rims, Z1 spare wheel. At 5 years old, it was exported from Germany to Italy, and after 2 more dealers the final customer is Mr. Keller (53 years old) who purchased it on 17th September 1997. In the 1998 inspection odometer reads 74,000 km. In 2001, due to a divorce, it was registered to his friend who confirmed she never personally drove the car. In 2006, the car goes to two dealers, until it was purchased by a Milanese jeweller (72 years old) in 2009. He was a car collector who, after ten years in 2016, sold it to me. I checked and maintained the car according to its originality (new soft top, some finishes, new rear discs and pads, etc.) and I used the car every month to keep it in working condition (please see photos 20 and 21). Now, because of a illness, I decided to sell my old cars except for the 1938 Rolls-Royce, as I am proud of it.
Inspection valid until 2020. Rear brakes recently replaced. Timing belt redone in 2016 and 2500 km ago. Checked every year at the workshop. Recently typical problems of the Z1 emerged: Fibreglass cut on the front mudguards, small cut on the right door panel (please see photos). Since the panels are easy to remove, the expected cost is about a thousand euros. For the occasion, front bonnet will also be repainted in order to remove surface scratches. Original Nabuk leather and camouflage seats, they can be cleaned with a special sponge (as shown in photos). Otherwise very neat (please see photos with maintenance details).
WHY YOU SHOULD BUY IT
Produced in only 8,000 units. Open BMW with great technological and emotional elements, such as the descending power doors. 9 cm wider and 12 cm shorter than the 325, thanks to the frame with tall sills which guarantee a high torsional stiffness - the Z1 allows a sporty driving. Wonderful black colour tending to dark blue with Nabuk leather and camouflage interior (today impossible to find). Ready to use for a summer in your Spider.
