Triumph - 3TA Twin - 350 cc - 1967

This 350cc Triumph is in very good condition. It is an older restoration and still looks very shiny. It just had a major service by a Triumph specialist. Engine oil, gearbox oil, primary oil changed. All cables adjusted and lubricated. Fuel tank cleaned. New Battery. All electric wiring sorted and tidy. Many hours were spent on this service. Everything works well. It starts very easy and runs excellent. Ready for summer rides! See the Youtube videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt_r0jbXoDw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hXQrSxkYK4I The clutch works excellent. Brakes work good front and very good at the rear. Overhauled Amal Monobloc carburetor of larger size (original good carburetor included). The gearbox works good. It pulls really well through all the gears. Both Continental tyres are a few years old but still work perfect and have good profile. The rear tyre is younger and is circa 50% worn Front tyre is older and has circa 70% profile left. Overall the chrome is still good, on some points there is some pitting. Such as on the right exhaust near the footrest (see photos) At the rear bottom of the left exhaust pipe there is a repaired hole. (see photos). 2 sets of keys. All documents are correct, export documents can be arranged for free. European transport at competitive prices can be arranged. Full interesting history since new: This Triumph is Nr. 5 of a batch of 1100 Triumphs made for the Dutch army in 1967. During it's service it had a fresh engine installed of exactly the same type (and only 385 numbers apart), which was normal practice in the army. In 1977 it was auctioned by the dutch government. Then it was fully overhauled and restored. It was bought in 1993 by the last owner. He rode it until 15 years ago when it was stored in a dry garage. Now it has been fully serviced, ready to ride away.
