A Majestic antique Japanese porcelain Imari plate painted to the centre with a dragon medallion enclosed by a border of flowers and foliage in iron red and gilt. The rim divided in sections with peaches, chrysanthemums, phoenixes and antiquities. The quality of the painting is outstanding and for sure a great eye-catcher for your Asian polychrome porcelain collection!
Signed on the backside with 6 characters in iron red: "Hichozan shinpo sei".
Age: Meiji period 1868-1912 / condition: Some clean hairlines on the rim. Hardly visible on the front. See pictures. NO chips! NO restoration!
