Large vintage bust of Queen Nefertiti - 2.5 kg and 28 cm high. Beautiful hand-coloured golden bust of Queen Nefertiti made in the 1960s. Nefertiti was Queen of the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt and reigned as Great Royal Wife next to Akhenaton, the Pharaoh who reigned over Egypt at the beginning of the new Kingdom, from 1338 to 1352 BC. Her name Nefertiti means: "The beautiful has come." Dates back to approx. 1960. Size 28 cm high x 13 cm wide x 20 cm deep. Weighs no less than 2.5 kg. Good authentic condition. Please note: Has minor damage in the base and in the neck and colour was touched up at a later stage. But generally in extremely attractive condition and very rare.
