NSU - Lambretta LD - 125 cc - 1953

Up for auction from my small collection: A black NSU Lambretta 125 from 1953 in driving condition. The scooter has the following (special) features: - Colour: Deep black (beautified, with high content of blue), original paint - Leather upholstery with seat covers and spare wheel cover in beige with black piping - Crash bars - Clock and speedo, tank and other parts were replaced with original spare parts - Tyres from 2004 - Cables (grey) were renewed - No rusted-through spots - Three flaws: Slight dent and colour chip on the right side of the footboard; dent in the chromed edge protection on the right side, larger scratch on the left rear part of the footboard According to the operating licence, the vehicle was last re-registered in 1996, the entered day of first registration is 02.08.1972. The scooter was manufactured in 1953. According to the family of the previous owner (a family of architects), the scooter was given from the father (first owner) to his son. The original documents are no longer available. Inspection certificates or deregistration documents could not be found anymore either. I presume that the scooter has been stored in a dry shed for about 5 to 10 years. After the missing earth cable was replaced, the scooter immediately started. It was already test driven for a few meters. You are welcome to view the scooter on location in Hanover, Germany.
