This volume was published on the occasion of the exhibition Fernand Léger à la Maison de la Pensée Française, it has studies of drawings and paintings executed in preparation for the final work entitled ‘Les Constructeurs’, as well as some photographs, all in black. With a handwritten poem reprinted from Cendrars, and another facsimile by Paul Eluard.
