The front of the handle is decorated with a colourful reproduction of an original work by the artist Rick Fields, set in a 24 carat gilded frame.
The jaw shows an engraved head of a bear in relief, gilded with 24 carat.
On the back of the knife, the medallion of the Franklin Mint collectors knife is embedded in coinage.
