Corgi - 1:46 - Aston Martin DB5 "James Bond" - Corgi Toys "made in GB" - Reference Corgi: 261 - First edition of 1965

This is the first edition (1965) of this DB5 of James Bond. Acquired shortly after its release, more than 50 years ago, this miniature has been kept in very good condition because it was always handled with care. The rest of the time it stays in the showcase. The model is complete with the exception of the character that represented the bandit and was theoretically on the ejector seat. He must have been ejected and lost permanently about fifty years ago... This miniature is operational: - the pushing of the small button protruding from the base on the left side of the miniature triggers the opening of the bumper and machine guns at the front; - the pushing of the large button protruding from the base on the left side of the miniature triggers the opening of the roof for the ejector seat; - the pushing of the exhaust pipes triggers the opening of the bullet shield located in the boot. James Bond is present at the steering wheel of the car (see photo 16), only the bandit disappeared. A few small chips of paint prevent the miniature from being considered new. But, as the photos show, we are not far from it. No box because unfortunately I did not preserve them at the time... See the pictures for a more detailed description. The bluish reflections appearing in some of the photos are just from the colour of the smartphone used. Shipment via express parcel (Colissimo) with track & trace.
