At the heart of this chronograph is OMEGA’s mechanical calibre 1861 with 18 jewels, with a high-grade rhodium-plated finish on the movement, the legendary manual-winding movement worn on the Moon. Which is runs great and all functions work as expected. This OMEGA Speedmaster Professional “Moonwatch” features a black dial covered by a hesalite crystal and graced by a small seconds sub-dial, 30-minute recorder and 12-hour recorder along with a central chronograph hand. The indexes and central hour and minute hands are coated in Super-LumiNova.With its black dial and tachymeter scale, this 42 mm chronograph was designed to stand out. The black bezel, with its tachymetric scale, is mounted on a 42 mm stainless steel case excluding the crown and 48mm from lug to lug is in very good condition throughout, with minor surface scratches that are to be expected on any watch of this age. The back lid signed "Speedmaster", "Flight-Qualified By Nasa For All Manned Space Missions", "The First Watch Worn On The Moon", The winding crown is completely original and correctly signed with the famous “Omega” logo. The watch is presented on original stainless steel bracelet with a fastener for deployment “Omega” around 20cm including the watch case, signed "Speedmaster", "Professional" with the “Omega” logo.
