Swiss dagger (Holbein type) made in 1990 to commemorate the 700 anniversary of the founding of the Swiss Confederation. On one side of the blade, the date 1291-1991, on the other side "Fürs Vaterland": "For our country". Blade in stainless, wood handle with a silver cross. The scabbard in copper covered withsilver foil. Representing the famous painting of Holbein the Old "The dance of life and death". I have acquired this object in 1995 in London from a Camdem Town Market.
