Beautiful horse in Tang style.
It still has the original pigments.
I've tested the horse by pushing on it with a wet finger. If it's old, a dark spot should remain. This did happen and after a while the spot disappeared. I smelled it and it had a very unpleasant old, stale muddy smell.
Three of the legs and the pedestal have been repaired. The tail was probably damaged later.
The weight is 3.05 kg.
The lot will be shipped insured with a tracking code.
This lot has been assessed and dated based on style and patina. Because of its value, no TL test was carried out.
