Norwegian konge tinn corkscrew from Heilag Olav (1) - Pewter/Tin
Konge Tinn is a Norwegian tin producer who introduced a very successful cutlery line in the 1970s, in which the sage of Viking King 'Olav the Saint' was depicted in a traditional way. Olav the Saint lived 1000 years ago and although the Vikings are mostly known for their violence and barbaric habits, there was a lot of attention devoted to art and craftsmanship during that period. According to the sage, King Olav himself carved the dragon head that adorned the bow of his boat. King Olav introduced Christianity to Norway and was later declared sacred.
Norwegian konge tin figurative corkscrew. The corkscrew is adorned on both sides with an image of Viking King Heilag Olav and dragons on the side. Will be packaged with care and shipped by registered mail.
