Keith H, 4 stack figures. Pop Art artist. Keith Haring was born on 4 May 1958 in Reading, Pennsylvania and grew up in Kutztown, a town near his hometown. His father Allen was a cartoonist. As a child, Haring was already very interested in art. At the end of the seventies he studied for some time at the School of Visual Arts in New York. The young artist was inspired by Andy Warhol and graffiti artists, among others, and started drawing on empty poster boards in New York metro stations.
