BMW - R68 - 600 cc - 1952

Only 1,452 specimens of R68 were built worldwide: this motorcycle is the most exclusive BMW of the post-war era. This small wonder that can reach 160 km/h is all collectors’ dream. Officially certified by BMW archives. This motorcycle is an extremely rare specimen of the first series, with jacketed forks and other unique details, which make it different from the following version. It has been maniacally and unsparingly restored for years, fully respecting its originality. In the last years, no first series could be found for sale in Europe; probably only a few dozens of them are still on the roads. Recently more than € 8,000 have been spent for the engine rebuilding by a Swiss specialist (there are invoices and details). With the exclusive International Six Days Trophy exhaust. Amazing and spectacular bike for expert collectors. The picture of the bike in racing trim is from the archive material. Located in Como, Northern Italy.
