1920, Denmark Beautiful tin dish with a sitting nude made by Just Andersen. In acceptable vintage condition, complete. Size: diameter: 12 cm, Height: 7 cm Marked: Denmark, Just, 185 Period: around 1920-1930 Just Andersen was born in Godhavn, Greenland. He opened Just Andersen Pewter in 1918. He is best known for his neoclassical Scandinavian designs of consumer items made of tin, brass, copper, bronze and Disko. (Disko Metal is an alloy of lead and antimony, Andersen's own invention and named after the Disko Bay in Greenland, where he grew up.)
