RAY-BAN/Bausch and Lomb all-weather sunglasses Ambermatic TM glasses (colour changes according to the weather conditions and temperature: yellow-orange-brown-grey). Still with the original lenses, without the BL engraving, this only started halfway the 1970s. The circle between the 2 lenses is another story. The circle was very fragile in this model, and under intense temperature differences it used to crack open rather rapidly. Many copies suffered this fate (fortunately there are specialists who... see the close-up photos of the repairs). The glasses have been fitted with new original ears quite recently. B&L Ray-Ban USA is engraved on the partition on top of the circle. These glasses became a top icon because of Johnny Depp's brilliant appearance in the film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Overall a pair of beautiful and hip vintage glasses still in optimal condition. Will be sent in the original box.
