Tressa Lux vintage anni '70 - Spaceman - Men - 1970-1979

In the early 1970s, the famous designer André Le Marquand designed 'The Spaceman Watch', a watch designed as a tribute to the first moon landing (note the figure of an astronaut on the case back). The model was exhibited for the first time at the 1972 Basel Exhibition and was immediately successful. The 'Spaceman' works with an automatic movement, the case is water resistant and measures 46 x 42 cm (excluding winding crown) and is made of lightweight fibreglass, a material that was cutting edge at the time, used in the 1960s/70s in the aerospace sector. The strap, made by Dupont, is made of Corfam®, a resistant material also used to make spacesuits. This is a collector's watch, in good condition and in good working order. The strap is used.
