Mid-20th century 'Husun' three circle Sextant by Henry Hughes and Son Ltd , black crackled frame with brass and silvered arc in a cedar case. On Kelvin & Hughes certificate attached to the lid: The sextant has been found satisfactory - angle of field of view 7 degree - magnification 2 1/2 x - effective aperture 1.22" - Serial number 60144 Signed on 19 of December 1951. Another certificate attached to the lid sextant repaired and adjusted 23/2/76 Some signs of wear, may need a new wire, no bulb and crack to the lid. Case 27 x 26 14.5cm
