Sugar hammer, Tuaregs from Niger.
This hammer is symbolic of the importance of tea in Tuareg culture in the late 19th-early 20th century.
Drunk in threes, this drink was consumed eight to nine times a day.
Its traditional preparation required the detail of sugar acquired in the form of a long cone or "sugar loaf".
