A German so called Kriegsflagge. Usually you saw them on naval vessels, but also the Luftwaffe and the Wehrmacht used them, they are often seen on photos of buildings in conquered areas after won battles. Only the navy had a prescribed size for each ship type (see last picture) The Wehrmacht (the Army) did not. It measures 1.50 m. x 2.50 m. A large so, ergo rare one. On the side there’s a rope sewn in and it says in stamp lettering: Kr.Fl.200 x335 a Kriegs-Marine stamp and the maker: "Johann Liebieg & Comp., Reichenberg, Sudetenland", which is not very readable. The flag is in a reasonably good condition, it just has some very small moth holes, which are barely visible. Otherwise no damage or repairs. It is a navy version, see the K. M sizing for the different types of ships. The flag has been U.V. tested.
