Record Genève Sport calibre 106 from Switzerland, 1930s–40s; military style.
Ref.: 201682, Brevets: 216725.
Nato strap: 16 mm.
Original black glossy dial with oversized numbers and gold hands.
The chrome-plated steel case measures 34 mm including crown. Usually the chrome-plated steel cases are in very poor condition. This one still looks good after about 70 years! (Only some scratch formation and slight discolourations here and there...)
Hand-wound movement signed 'Record', calibre 16, 15 jewels.
Naturally, many copies have been lost, and an original military watch in this condition is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
The watch runs accurately and the crystal has been replaced during a servicing.
This is a vintage watch from the 1940s–40s in fine condition! With minor signs of wear and patina, as can be expected.
Therefore, please have a look at the photos for yourself to gain a correct impression.
The watch comes on a new army green Nato strap of 16 mm.
This watch appeals to the collector or enthusiast of military-style or vintage watches.
