Antique ring with old Bohemian garnet in deep dark red in 8 kt / 333 gold. The ring has an elongated-oval ship shape and is set with garnet gemstones over three levels. In total there are 27 garnets of 2.5 ct in total. The round garnets are in the pointed star cut, as is typical with antique garnet jewellery. In the centre is an elongated garnet in faceted cut of around 0.50 ct. The connection between the levels is clamped, as was usual at that time. The connection is secure and doesn't wobble.
