Beautiful cookie jar attributed to
François-Théodore Legras, a master glassmaker born on December 27th, 1839 in the hamlet of La Grande Catherine in Claudon (Vosges) and died on August 2nd, 1916 in Paris.
This jar is made of unsigned enamelled glass but is typical of Legras' decorations.
The handle and lid are original and made of finely worked pewter.
Height: approximately 15 cm.
Height including handles: 24.5 cm.
Diameter: approximately 14 cm.
