Beautiful work by the Italian artist Orfeo Tamburi, designer, painter, journalist, who was born in Jesi in 1910 where he graduated from the Technical Institute in 1926. Thanks to a scholarship, he moved to Rome in 1928 to enrol at the Art School in via Ripetta and then at the Academy of Fine Arts where he met Ennio Flaiano and Vincenzo Cardarelli. After a stay in Paris where, visiting museums and galleries, he discovered the painting of Cezanne, Orfeo Tamburi returned to Rome 1935, participated in the 2nd Quadriennale and devoted himself mainly to the landscape, promoting his fresh creativity in drawing.
