What I am offering here is a beautiful kilim in very good condition. It was hand-woven according to century-old traditions, originally for domestic use by and for nomads. A Persian kilim generally is a colourful carpet that is decorated with regional patterns to which the nomads are inspired by nature and their daily lives. The material consists mostly of sheep wool and is coloured using plant dyes. A kilim becomes more and more interesting and beautiful through years of daily use and can become a life-long companion due to its sturdy and long-living nature.
The dimensions without fringe measure: 191 x 113 cm.
Please look at the pictures for a more detailed description.
The carpet was exported from Iran before 01/01/2015.
The indicated shipping costs are valid only for the mainland. To islands (except German islands, Great Britain and Ireland) and overseas territories, the shipping costs are much higher. Interested parties from these regions are welcome to enquire about shipping costs before bidding.

Please note: some elements on this page have been translated automatically. This carpet is amazing and wonderful. It is between the best carpet I have ever bought by using the web. Each colour,Each details are Fantastic. You are really a gentleman as I'll keep it preciously.
The rug is entirely faded by the sun, which was not mentioned in the description and can not be seen in the pictures. The rug is not a Sarouck. BUYERS BEWARE! This is fraud. Seller refuses return. Please note: some elements on this page have been translated automatically. It's amazing how some people react when things are not going their way. I had to call after the full address afterwards and make some phone calls with the shipping company, because the package could not be delivered otherwise. The address deposited with Catawiki was incomplete.
If you look at the pictures you can see that the carpet has color fading. But the acquirer has probably ignored that, otherwise he would have been able to ask before offering in this regard. The assertion that this carpet is not a sarouck must be a slap in the face for the experts, because they would certainly have recognized this immediately.
The buyer wanted to return the carpet, that I refused. Then I got an email from him announcing the negative feedback if I did not take the carpet back.
In principle, I do not accept such attempts at coercion.
Loved the carpet. Thank you.
