Märklin H0 - 3611 - Steam locomotive and towed tender, class C of the Königlich Württembergischen Staats-Eisenbahnen (K.W.St.E.). With original packaging and booklet Company Number: 2007 Both the locomotive and the tender are completely made out of metal with plastic housings. Steam locomotive Class C of the Königlich Württembergischen Staatsbahnen. The livery is a combination of light-blue and dark-grey colours. Equipped with a Faulhaber motor. It has been tested and runs faultlessly with working lights The length between the buffers is: 237 mm. Undamaged and no paintwork issues Tested on functionality. Please see the photos of this beautiful locomotive. The presentation rail is not included in this lot. Mainline History: The locomotives of the type Württembergische C (DR Series 18.1) were deployed by the Königlich Württembergische Staats-Eisenbahnen (K.W.STS.E.) as from 1909. 41 of these locomotives were built by Maschinenfabrik Esslingen, which, that with their 2'C1' axle configuration were primarily used for hauling passenger trains. The Württembergische C class locomotives were built between 1909 and 1921 by the Maschinenfabrik Esslingen. A total of 41 units were built. The locomotives were designed for the steeper inclines in Württemberg and therefore had smaller drive-wheels with a diameter of 180 cm. The locomotives had an unusual appearance for their time, earning them the nickname "die schöne Württembergerin".
