DETAILS: Model AS17T. One of Sheaffer'S high end models of the 1970's Imperials, the "Imperial Triumph" is all gold plated, and has a Touch Down filling system (exclusive pneumatic down-stroke filler). All gold plated in a pattern of batches of eight fine parallel lines engravings. Black plastic grip section and gold plated trims. Gold 14K /585 inlaid nib, probably "F" fine tip tip (I see no marking, but seems so). This particular version has a feed integrated in the section. With original Sheaffer chromed Touchdown filling system (Sheaffer exclusive). Post on cap. "Loss-proof" innerspring clip with the Sheaffer White Dot at the top. Marked engraved "SHEAFFER'S" on cap shiny lip band and nib face, along with USA (see detailed pictures). Made in USA. Pen length (cap closed): 13,7cm. No case or instructions supplied, sorry. CONDITION: Excellent overall - gently used and shiny with minor signs of use and no flaws, working 100% - see pictures. Microscratches overall only, no hard or obvious scratches or other marks except a very tiny dent on barrel (see last picture detail) and the top of the cap has an obvious medium dent, one side (visible in one of the pictures). No nicks, no other dents. No cracks, scuffs or deformations. No obvious oxidations. No repairs. Clip perfectly adjusted and aligned. One side of the cap shows slight wear, not very obvious (see last pictures). No other brassing to the gold platings. The nib is as new, perfect aligned and with complete iridium, writing perfectly and smoothly. No scratches or marks, no bends or repairs. Polished and shiny. Fiiling system complete and working very smoothly, filling up 100% with perfect vacuum. No leaks or blots. Very crisp engravings. No personal engravings. Perfectly clean overall.
