Beautiful and very rare Art Deco ceramic figure of a nude woman with a cream coloured crackle glaze. The figure was made in Czechoslovakia by Pexider in Letovice in the 1st Czech Republic (1918-1938) to a design by Rudolf Hlavina. Factory brand and signature of the artist at the base (see photos). The figure is 35.5 cm high and 11.5 x 10.5 cm at the base. It is in original condition (no cracks, no restorations) with traces of old age and wear like crackle in the glaze and a very small chip to the curl of her hair as can be seen in the last photo. Weight about 750 grams.
