Set of two small decorative plates made of Limoges porcelain (France) produced by the workshop of artist Marcel Chaufriasse around 1962.
They are in excellent condition.
They are enamelled in cobalt blue and are adorned with gilded embellishments by hand.
One of the plates is a rounded triangular shape and depicts the goddess Diane in a hunting scene. The height of the triangle from the edge is approximately 6.2 cm; the base of the triangle measures approximately 11 cm between its two ends; the plate is about 2 cm thick.
The other plate is rectangular in shape and depicts daisies. The width of the rectangle is about 8.6 cm between the two ends; the height of the rectangle is 15 cm between the two ends; the plate is about 1.3 cm thick.
A rare production by a workshop that was well-known for art porcelain and disappeared several decades ago.
