Beautiful original etching from 1932 by Jules De Bruycker, with a very rare depiction of the Sluizekenkaai (Quai De l'Écluse) at the Sluizeken in Ghent.
Jules De Bruycker (Ghent 1870 - 1945), like James Ensor, is considered one of the most important Flemish etchings.
He was a virtuoso with etching technique and therefore particularly loved by a large audience of art enthusiasts collectors.
The work is professionally framed behind glass with very nice mat, in a beautiful matching frame in Art Deco style.
