This is a unique Kuchi dress from the nomadic tribes of Afghanistan. The dress is beautifully made with extensive use of small pieces of material. There is embroidery around the neck and at the end of the arms. Although the dress shows signs of wear and tear, the faults are easily restored if so desired. The dress was collected in the 1970s during and extended stay in Afghanistan and formed part of private collection.
The length of the dress is 117 cm with the girth measured at 32 cm from left to right.
