Very beautiful set in Laken glass, consisting of a carafe with 6 glasses, and a decoration technique of gold painting. The Laeken glass factory manufactured very typical vases and liqueur sets, among others. The glass factory is (was) in the Paleizenstraat over de Bruggen in Laken, Brussels (behind the Royal Palace). The production of glass was equal to that of Boom, as was the decoration. The carafe and glasses are in good condition with signs of wear (see photo). Original label present (used in 1950–1960).
