Beautiful silver-plated jewellery box. Marked at the bottom (see last photos) with the maker’s mark of H. Hooijkaas of the renowned silver factory in Schoonhoven (the Netherlands). In good condition, the wood is somewhat stained on the inside from the jewellery that was kept in the box. Of course, silver needs maintenance; if it is discoloured, you only need to rub it with a soft silver polish cloth.
