Jaume Cases Martínez (Barcelona 1942). Spanish painter, sculptor and draughtsman. He began his professional work as a carver sculptor in the company Dan Karner of Barcelona, where he dedicated himself to the design of toys and gift objects, work that combined with the drawing of comics and the illustration of children's stories. In 1974 he settled in Australia, where he worked for the Sydney Museum of Natural Sciences and the Wax Museum of the same city. Back in Barcelona, he worked as a modeler sculptor at the Museum of Zoology in Barcelona, the Diputación de Barcelona, the Archaeology Service of the Generalitat de Catalunya and the Science Museum of Barcelona, while he served as a teacher at the school of La Lonja of Barcelona. Between 1984 and 1987 he worked for Walt Disney drawing comics. During the 1992 Barcelona Olympics he worked in the workshop of Javier Mariscal, in the design of the pets of the games.
