The enamels on the main body of both vases are intact and very bright. There are some damages to the enamel in the following locations (please see photos): small pieces of enamels missing on the edges of the bases of both vase, the mouth edge on one vase, one bat is missing enamel on a lower wing on one handle, and there are some losses on the backs. There is also some crazing on the necks of both vases. For their age and fragile nature, they are in still quite good shape.
