Cortebert Watch Co. - Swiss watch company In 1865 the manufactory Raiguel Juillard et Cie. (later renamed as Cortébert Watch & Co) was founded in Cortébert. In 1790, Adam-Louis Juillard (1758-1831) founded a company for the production of ebauche movements in Sonvilier. With the move to Cortébert in 1876, the company named itself after its location "Cortébert Watch Co.". From 1890 onwards they manufactured complete pocket watches and later also watch straps. Beautiful burnished pocket watch with interesting early so-called mechanical digital display. Enamel white dial with fine painted flower embellishment. Small second hand under the mechanical digital display - first display is the hour display with Arabic numerals - Second display is the minute display in two boxes. Signed Cortebert mfg Co. Beautiful condition - there is a small hairline crack under the second hand. Burnished (blackened on the back) - with signs of use. Inner lid: metal - inscribed with Cylindre 8 Rubis. Fine, very well functioning manufacture movement - functions. Gold-coloured. Signed Cortebert & Co Brevete No 7634 and patent information. Watch diameter without pedant 52 mm. With pendant 75 mm. 111g heavy. - Crown winding. The watch is in beautiful condition overall with signs of use. Pictures are part of the description. Insured shipment with Austrian Post AG.
