Original fairing, a very nice bike and not messed around with. The most sought after in this red/white livery, it’s the most valuable. Well-maintained with new oil. The tyres and the chain/sprockets are as good as new. This R1 starts, runs and drives like new. Including valuable accessories such as the steering damper and the brake/switchset. Good Akrapovic exhaust. Just a pleasure to ride on. Its driving characteristics were revolutionary in 1998 and the power unprecedented. But the motorbike still feels very modern. It will definitely increase in value but is actually too much fun not to ride it and to leave it as an investment.
