Functioning well and in good condition: a very unique and even rare desk lamp, extendable and flexible, by industrial designers Dieter Rams (1932) and Andreas Hackbarth. This desk lamp, model "Rha 1", was designed in 1981. Model "Rha 2" was designed in 1984. This is the only lamp they designed for German manufacturer Tecnolumen. These desk lamps are no longer being made. The aluminium arm can be positioned in various was by pulling the grey block, in which the arm is mounted, slightly backwards. The arm can also be rotated from left to right. See photos with examples. Dieter Rams used this lamp at his own desk. See final set of photos. Three photos from an old catalogue featuring this lamp are included as well. Size: 53 cm high x 62.5 cm long Material: aluminium and plastic (RAL 7016) Can be used with tabletops with a max. thickness of 45 mm. Clamp depth is 35 mm. Light source: halogen 50W/12V. He is regarded as one of the most well-known industrial designers of Germany and as one of the greatest representatives of functionalism. Dieter Rams has won countless awards in the field of design.
