32 pieces of limited edition from Dalí Foundation, with serial number SVDF03. They are made of lightweight steel, and their dimensions range between 9 cm and 5 cm, padded on the base and very well balanced.
Excellent condition
The pieces represent the major works throughout the life of the artist, such as ‘The persistence of memory’. Therefore, the pawn comes from the soft watches; the Bishop comes from the Mae West room; the Tower comes from Torre Galatea; the queen is dressed as Gala, the King wears the typical outfit of Dali and, finally, the horse-elephant has insect legs.
Deluxe Grenadine marquetry board of 40 cm per side, with eight-pointed stars of luxury woods, interior lined with raft wood. It is slightly cambered due to the drying of the wood. See photos carefully, in excellent condition.
